  1. Hello Jay
Thanks for writing this book! I have always been frustrated and confused about my local Catholic church. You made things so clear, for me! You had me laughing out loud- In fact, I intend to give this book to my Pastor first thing on Sunday! I can’t wait to immerse myself in this new blog. This is long overdue.

  2. I can’t wait to read the book. Looks like an easy read. We talked about it in our youth group on Sat night. Sounds like your not white washing anything and giving us the straight scoop!

  3. I strongly agree with Jay Jagoe the author of Light Reading for Good and Wayward Catholics in his emphasis of the aspect of joy which is a gift of the Holy Spirit given to Catholics who received Confirmation. His book is a valuable tool for Evangelization. The foundation of Evangelization is that God first loved us and calls us. God calls us to intimacy and relationship.God calls us to be fruitful grafted in Christ as the vine we are the branches.Experiencing this intimacy we are full of joy. This joy must be expressd outwardly not hidden under a frown as Jay poignantly points out.
